Traditionally Tuscan

Traditionally Tuscan is an artisan wholesale bakery creating European inspired sweet treats, with a specific focus on authentic Tuscan specialities. Established in 2000, they have grown their range of handcrafted products to include five types of Panforte – the famous spice and nut cake of Siena, plus unique Tuscan biscuits as well as marzipan and marzipan products.

Inspired by their family connection to Siena, it is their aim to create authentic Tuscan delicacies, using traditional methods and recipes.

Beautifully packaged in the classic style – wrapped in paper, tied with brown string and stamped with a red wax seal – the Panforte products look as though they could have been unpacked from the suitcase of a real Italian Nonna from ‘the old country’. The flavour and texture is as authentic as anything made in Tuscany itself.

Panforte di Siena

The traditional Panforte made to an authentic recipe.  Whole almonds and glace fruit are combined with spiced honey to create this Tuscan speciality. 450g.

Panforte al Cioccolato

For chocolate lovers, this version of the traditional spice cake combines whole almonds, glace peel and cherries with spiced honey and cocoa, topped with chocolate. 250g and 500g.

Panforte al Marzapane

A luxurious marriage of whole almonds, glace fruit and melon combined with spiced honey and topped with pure marzipan. 550g.

Panforte Fichi

Roasted hazelnuts, fig and glace peel are combined with spiced honey and topped with icing sugar, lightly dusted with cinnamon. 450g.

Panforte di Siena

Traditional spice cake with whole almonds and glace fruit - small size. 225g.

Cavallucci Biscuits

Authentic spiced walnut and fruit biscuits of Siena, with hint of aniseed. 6 per pack. 275g.

Ricciarelli Macaroons

Delicate lemony almond macaroons.  Gluten free, dairy free. 6 per pack. 120g.

Pure Marzipan

Handmade marzipan paste, with 45% almonds.  Gluten free, dairy free, egg free. 200g.

Marzipan Fruits

Taking our own marzipan, we hand craft these traditional fruit shapes in European tradition. 120g.
