Original Foods Baking Co. (OFBC) is a wholesale bakery and proudly a family owned business. They believe sometimes naughty is nice, particularly when it involves delicious sweet treats. Luckily they have plenty, with home style baked cakes, donuts, slices, muffins and brownies.

They’ve been perfecting the art of baking for over 25 years, so their products really are dangerously good (we suggest you don’t leave them unattended).

One of the not-so-secret secrets to their success is the choice of quality ingredients such as fresh milk & eggs, and baking the way baking is supposed to be...from scratch, with an emphasis on homemade taste and texture.

Designed for convenience and minimal waste, the OFBC line of wholesale cakes and other sweet baked goods is supplied frozen. All you need to do is thaw and serve, adding value where you see fit.

Products can be found in leading supermarkets, quality cafes and catering companies, restaurants and tourism businesses in New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Samoa, Hong Kong and Australia. If you’ve flown with Air New Zealand you may have enjoyed one of our delicious muffins. (unless you chose the veggie crisps…big mistake).

Goofy Slab Slice

Freshly baked treats made from traditional home style recipes. Premium ingredients such as butter, lemons and fresh eggs combine to create these slabs of deliciousness. Ready to be sliced into your preferred portion size for customers or a crowd. 10 different flavours to choose from so there's an option for everyone.

Goofy Brownie

Everyone knows that brown is the new black and everyone loves chocolate brownie treats. This perfect combination of rich taste and texture has seen customers developing cases of SBOS (Serious Brownie Obsession Syndrome). Available in New York Brownie, Caramel & Walnut Brownie and even a Gluten Free Double Choc.

Muffins

Moist and delicious muffiny-magic. Premium quality treats baked with only the finest ingredients, dressed to impress in their own café-ready paper case. Simply thaw them out to serve. Available in a range of flavours and in two size ranges; 130g texas size for cafes and a 25g mini muffin for catering and buffets.

Donuts

This is how the business started - making Donuts for fish n chip shops way back in 1991! Since then they've expanded their range significantly to include a Donut for every need:

• Refry Takeaway Range. Simply thaw, re-fry and serve with cinnamon sugar
