Huffman’s Crafty Sauces

Award-winning, all-natural hot sauces

Huffman’s use only the finest natural ingredients; their vinegar for instance takes their distillery in Christchurch nine months to naturally ferment before being distilled and brought to their kitchens. The fresh Kaffir Lime leaves used in Huffman’s Thai Sweet Chilli Aromatic Sauce are grown on the Kapiti Coast by Kaffir Limes Co. and are delivered to the pot within a day or two of picking.

Huffman’s take their time, allowing the sauces to develop a full and balanced flavour before bottling. Their Original Chilli Pepper Hot Sauce is barrel matured for a minimum of three months before being strained and bottled.

Huffman's won an unprecedented four medals at 2017's The World Hot Sauce Awards! Both Huffman's Spiced Bloody Mary Ketchup and Huffman's Thai Sweet Chilli Aromatic Sauce won Silvers in their respective categories and the company picked up another Silver and a Bronze for their website and packaging.

Huffman’s Spiced Bloody Mary Tomato Ketchup

Ripe tomatoes seasoned with sea salt, distilled white vinegar, a little Worcestershire sauce and celery seed, rounded off with a splash of good sherry and a generous glug of Huffman’s Chilli Pepper Sauce. Goes particularly well with bacon and homemade burgers, fish and chips and in pasta sauce. Available in 300ml retail bottles and 1L for foodservice.

Huffman’s Thai Sweet Chilli Aromatic Sauce

A perfectly balanced blend of fresh citrus, coriander root and garlic with sun-ripened sweet red peppers, red chillies and cane sugar finished off with lots of fresh kaffir lime leaf. Goes well with a wide variety of Asian foods and can be used as a dipping sauce, dressing, marinade or condiment. Available in 300ml retail bottles and 1L for foodservice.

Huffman’s Original Chilli Pepper Not Too Hot Sauce

An unashamedly robust blend of sun-ripened sweet red peppers, distilled white vinegar and pure sea salt, imbued with the warmth of red chillies and smoked Spanish paprika. Goes well with just about everything but is especially good on eggs, avocado, seafood and chicken and can be used instead of salt to season. Available in 300ml retail bottles and 1L and 10L for foodservice.
