For people adhering to a LCHF (Low Carb High Fat) diet, macadamias are a rich source of healthy monounsaturated fats. The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane found that a diet enriched by macadamias actually lowers harmful blood cholesterol and that eating 6 to 20 macadamias per day lowered blood cholesterol by 7 per cent and triglycerides by 25 per cent, when compared with a high complex carbohydrate diet.

The shelled nuts are packed into 3kg bags, flushed with food-safe Nitrogen and manually vacuumed for extended shelf life.
