Fire Dragon Chillies is 100% New Zealand grown, owned and operated. A passionate family business that grew from an extreme love for hot food, today it offers five varieties of chilli sauces with varying degrees of heat, right up to the extreme Dragon’s Fury Sauce.

Not for the faint-hearted, Fire Dragon Chillies’ hot sauces pack some serious heat and have been known to intimidate even the bravest who attempt them. Based in the food heartland of Northland, all the chillies in the sauces are organically grown with no sprays. The mineral water they are fed comes straight from the earth through a natural spring. The company grows nearly all the produce for their sauces and what they do have to source from other suppliers comes from growers in Aotearoa.

New Zealand Green

A unique HOT sauce made with all NZ grown chillies and producing including Coppers Folly pure wasabi, horopito pepper, kawakawa leaf and NZ extra virgin hemp seed oil. Peppery, punchy, complex, fruity and HOT with intense heat and flavours! Goes perfect with sushi, fish, pork, sausages, in a spicy pho or green curry!

NZ Chilli Eating Champs 2015

Made from Carolina Reapers, Brain Strains and Scorpions, this is one of the tastiest, hottest sauces around! Also added is a wee bit of extract just to push that BURNTIME even higher! Special limited edition of just 100 bottles produced for 2015! A collector’s item and awesome HOT sauce!

Smoky Dragon SH!T HOT Chipotle

Just voted Australasia’s 3rd BEST savoury chilli sauce and 5th BEST HOT sauce at 2013 Mr Chilli Awards. Smoky Dragon Chipotle is a mixture of traditional Mexican chillies blended with some fiery favourites! Manuka smoked chillies give it that authentic kiwi smoky taste in an old Mexican classic! Yes finally a Chipotle that is actually HOT!

Xtra Hot Sauce

Just voted Australasia’s 2nd BEST hot sauce at the 2013 Mr Chilli Awards. This yellow sauce is made from the hottest yellow chillies on the planet: Scorpian Morugas, Bhut Jolokia, Fatalli, Scotch Bonnet and some others too. It has a great sweet fruity taste with a really good BITE to it! Turns omelettes into a taste sensation and is also great to fire up your scrambled eggs or bacon and eggs for brekkie. Goes especially well with all seafood, chicken and hot wings. Great in chowders, stews, soups, stir fries, marinades, BBQ meats and also makes the best pizza! It’s a superb tasting HOT sauce with citrus undertones.

Purple Ghost

Made from the company’s own spray free and organic blackberries and mixed with their own home grown chillies! They use Purple and Peach Bhuts, Bolivian Rainbow and a few Carolina Reapers to create this sweet, dark and FIERY chilli sauce! Goes great with steak, venison, pulled pork, cheesecake and even ice cream!

Smoky Spicy Wing Sauce

Made by Chef Glen Taylor this is one of the tastiest wing sauces around! Not too hot but a nice all round warming, spicy, smoky wing sauce. With its fire provided by Fire Dragon Chillies this sauce might just be the 1st of a Trilogy! If you like wings, you will love this Nashville style Smoky Spicy Wing sauce!
