The company’s ready-made finger food range is the result of the frustration experienced by an Aussie chef who, when working in a five-star hotel, was unable to source finger food options that met his exacting standards. Chef Markus and partner Rebecca Halfpenny established Food for Fingers in 1995 to offer gourmet finger food solutions to restaurants and caterers. Instead of the standard fare consisting of fillers and unnatural ingredients, Chef Markus insisted on developing and producing great-tasting foods using the freshest local meat, vegetables, herbs and spices.
