Back in 2006, the company’s Organic Cake Mix represented a revolution in gluten free premixes. Completely unlike the ‘chaff-like’ offerings that existed on the market at the time, the Love Cake baking mix offered an unbelievably delicious and moist cake that no one would ever know it was a ‘free-from’ product.
Today, continuing that tradition of scrumptious, convenient, home baking solutions, Love Cake Company has added many more to their range including muffins, brownie, cookie and a pudding mix, also three no added sugar products; savoury muffin, scone and buckwheat pancake mix. In addition to the original Organic Range, they have also introduced a non-organic, all natural and allergen-free alternative called the Natural Range.
In the past 12 months Love Cake has stepped beyond retail to deliver especially tailored blends to the foodservice market. This smaller range includes a chocolate, vanilla, brownie, savoury muffin, buckwheat pancake and scone offering. These products are designed to be used as a base so chefs can use Love Cakes or their own recipes to create a myriad of different offerings; carrot cake, lime and coconut cake, blueberry lemon muffins, banana coconut muffins.. the list is endless. The beauty of the Love Cake range is that the texture and flavour profile is such that they will be enjoyed by all, meaning chefs can bake once and cater to all their special dietary requirements. Foodservice blends are available in 2.5kg and 10kg sizes.
